We found a house to buy in Lehi and are under contract. I wish that my camera were working so that I could post a picture, but we will probably have to wait till Christmas to get a new one. Anyway, we are really excited. The house is just off the east side of the freeway in Lehi. We love the location. It is so close to the freeway entrance, yet you can't see or hear the freeway from the neighborhood. It will only take Brad about 7 minutes to get to work ( much better than the 30 minute commute that he has been doing for the last few years). It is not a huge home, but will be sufficient for our needs for a while. It has a really nice fully fenced in backyard with a built in playground that Cameron already loves. We will be closing on December 11 and moving in that weekend on Saturday the 13th. We are very excited, yet there will be some tears shed over leaving the village. I turned in my intent to vacate form with the Main office today. I know it will be very nice to have more space and a home of our own, but I also know that it will be an adjustment for Cameron and I to not have the same type of social situation that we have become accustomed to. But, with any change there is always positives and negatives right? There are a lot of positives: a 2 car garage, no cinderblock walls, our own private yard, almost 3 times the square footage we are used to, no more paying rent, having Brad work so close to home, etc. We think it will be a good move for our family. We really wanted to be settled somewhere before Cameron starts kindergarten next fall, and I really wanted to have more space before we have another baby, so this is good timing for us. (No, I'm not pregnant yet, but we are hoping to be very soon.)
